What if you were born and lived your entire life in one building without doors or windows? there was an entire sustained community living there. no one knew of the world outside.
just because you can't see outside the walls of the building, that doesn't man there isn't something out there. maybe people would figure out the radio, and would get signals from outside. or maybe they would hear things going on outside. like loud construction. or maybe they would feel earthquakes. or hear the wind outside.
What would they think?
What might they decide about the outside world?
Our eyes only see a limited range of light waves. our senses all have limitations. it's like we're trapped in a certain level of senses and dimensions and can't see what is out there. I want to see what is out there. I want to understand every minute complexity and every level of existence that exists in the Universe.
